Dottie is a beautiful doe out of SG Painted Pepper RJ Sprinter +*B who has sired other stunning does such as SG Painted Pepper Equinox and Painted Pepper Lemon Meringue at Feather N Scale Farm. Of course, Painted Pepper Farm was the first Nigerian Dwarf organic dairy creamery in the United States and has built their herd for dairy production. Dottie is a very similar breeding to SG Painted Pepper Equinox LA90 at Feather N Scale Farm. Their sires are the same and dams are littermate sisters.

Dottie is an 8 year old 2nd freshener and has done a fantastic job of dam raising triplets this year. Her udder is well attached, capacious, and she has well placed teats that are easy to milk. She is one of my favorite does in the herd. As such, I've retained the buckling from her first kidding by Old Mountain Farm Tomo Quinn and am keeping both of her daughters this year: American Jewell Margaret Mae and Area 51.

Sired by Poppy Patch JC Royal Rebel and out of Dawnland Tabby's Whirlabout. Whirligig is a stunning doe with incredible depth, width, dairy character and a beautiful first freshening udder. Everything about her mesmerizes me. Her topline, long level rump, long/ graceful neck, brisket extension, angularity and her intelligence. Her udder is well attached, has a notable MSL, and plumb teats. This girl is the whole package and I'm grateful to have her as our herd queen.

Sired by Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby +*S and TX Twincreeks WDF Butterfly Dance- this little doe won Grand Champion/ BOB at her first show as a 4 year old third freshener in 2015- beating 26 other does! When you look at the number of permanent champions on either side, it is quite easy to see why Whirlabout is so nice. From her graceful neck to her long level rump and beautiful topline, this doe's conformation is truly a show stopper.

Royal Dutchess is a beautiful doe with a long dairy neck, length/ depth of body, and a gorgous udder. Her brisket extension is notable and her owner remarked that she produced nearly 4 quarts of milk per day in her 2nd freshening with sextuplets!

Sired by Lost Valley Legacy *S*B and out of Dawnland's Mohawk's Angel Eyes. Jewell is a beautiful doe with a very dairy appearance and notable brisket. I love her feet- they are so tight and straight that she looks like a ballerina en pointe. The udders on both sides of this pedigree are outstanding and she is following suit. There is a clear division between halves, beautiful attachments, great capacity, and beautiful teat placement.

The consistency between dam and daughter are pretty amazing! Angel Eyes has a beautiful MSL, perfect teat placement, great attachments, and is a pleasure to milk. The picture above is of Angel's 5th freshening udder with a 12 hour fill.
One just has to look at Black Shadow's udder (not filled in the picture above) to see the capacity, amazing MSL, and plumb/ plump milkable teats. This collapsible udder is a dream to milk and one that I'd love to see in future progeny at American Jewell Farm.
Casco is a gorgeous doeling out of lines that I know and love. Her grandparents include: Old Mountain Farm JustPlainJoe, SG Old Mountain Farm Katja Quinn, SG Old Mountain Farm Bold Elk +*B, and Old Mountain Farm Parti Favah!!! In her own right, she is a very dairy girl with lots of angularity, a perfect rear legset, and a nice level topline. With Casco's 2nd freshening, we saw her mature into a stunning doe with an amazing udder. She is smoothly blended, stands on correct feet/ legs, and has a presence that turns heads in the show ring. She earned her first Grand Champion leg in a group of 63 milkers and I can't thank Julie Mannix of Old School Creamery enough for allowing me to be her 2-Leg.

A picture is really worth a thousand words when you see Katja Quinn's picture above. The teat placement and size are phenomenal and her well attached udder fills that escutcheon beautifully. Katja Quinn is the full sister to the 2017 ADGA Reserve National Champion!

Sired by Poppy Patch JC Royal Rebel and out of Dawnland Tabby's Whirlabout. Loca is full sister to my beloved Whirli and Little Bee who resides at RZ Acres Farm. I am grateful to Laura Carye for breeding such beautiful animals with her Dawnland Farm herd and to Andrea Collins for giving me the opportunity to give Loca a home. These genetics work so wonderfully with the New England lines that I have and I'm looking forward to seeing what Loca and I can do together.

Dawnland CDR Ambrosia represents the culmination of two decades of breeding by Laura Carye at Dawnland Farm and offers some of her best-ever genetics. This beautiful doe is elegant, correct on her feet and legs, and has one of the most beautiful mammary systems that I've ever had in my herd. The udder photo shown was with my once a day milking (thanks to my full time nurse job). This doe is a show stopper and I am excited to build a herd with foundation genetics like this!

Cindy-Lou Who is sired by Old Mountain Farm No-Diggity and out of Little Tots Estate Olivia KBC- a doe with a beautiful udder. Of course, No Diggity is out of Old Mountain Farm Ta Dah! and Old Mountain Farm Stag- making her a very nice blend with the herd that I have. BEST IN SHOW!
Coffee Bean is one of a set of triplet doelings and is out of our first set of kids sired by Valley's-Edge L.L. Bean. She is polled, has blue eyes, and is covered with moon spots but it's much more exciting than that. Her dam's udder is just perfection and her pedigree is packed with beautiful dairy goats. Coffee Bean won Reserve Grand Junior Doe at the AGS Nationals, made the top cut in the ADGA Nationals, and won Grand Champion Junior Doe / Best In Show at the Flatwater Classic show!!!

Bijou came from an amazingly strong dam line and produced beautiful daughters, herself. She was not a doe that I ever intended on selling and I lost her to a freak accident at age 5 1/2. Two of her daughters have already won their first GCH leg and I'm hoping to finish them.
Grand Champion Junior Doe- dry leg earned!
Mercy is a great granddaughter of Old Mountain Farm Stag and is a long, dairy, and powerful looking doe with a fantastic front end on her. With the udder genetics behind her, we are really thrilled to have Mercy in our breeding program. Mercy won Grand Champion Junior Doe in a show with 69 junior does and made the top cut at the 2021 ADGA National show!!!

Udder photo was pre-ff in 2022. I loved everything that I saw and cannot wait to see her 2nd fresh udder this year!
Faline lived with us for a season before returning to her breeder. Her udder was beautiful and her general appearance was really quite stunning. In particular, her brisket/ front end was one of the best I've ever seen. Cade was happy to have her back and we are grateful to have her gorgeous daughter.

Dovey is absolutely a stunning doe that should do well, both, in the show ring and in the milk pail. Her first freshening in 2022 was of a large single buckling that she had trouble delivering. I loaded her up in the back of my Bronco to take her to the vet and on the drive there, I heard the snuffling sounds of a newborn kid. When I pulled over on the interstate, I saw the most beautiful (and large!) buckling that I named G.O.A.T. Mode. :) Dovey's ff udder was perfect in every way and I can't wait to see how she matures this Spring.

Dovey's ff udder was really quite beautiful and everything was exactly where it was supposed to be. I've learned to be patient with ff udders like hers and fully expect that I will see her full potential in 2023-2024.
Just look! I mean, an LA score of 91 says it all but I'm just focused on this udder! Even though I had the distinct opportunity to use Beau Geste for a breeding season at my farm, I sold some of my own homegrown kids and kept Dovey. Why would I do that? This udder!
