Dottie is a beautiful doe out of SG Painted Pepper RJ Sprinter +*B who has sired other stunning does such as SG Painted Pepper Equinox and Painted Pepper Lemon Meringue at Feather N Scale Farm. Of course, Painted Pepper Farm was the first Nigerian Dwarf organic dairy creamery in the United States and has built their herd for dairy production. Dottie is a very similar breeding to SG Painted Pepper Equinox LA90 at Feather N Scale Farm. Their sires are the same and dams are littermate sisters.

Dottie is an 8 year old 2nd freshener and has done a fantastic job of dam raising triplets this year. Her udder is well attached, capacious, and she has well placed teats that are easy to milk. She is one of my favorite does in the herd. As such, I've retained the buckling from her first kidding by Old Mountain Farm Tomo Quinn and am keeping both of her daughters this year: American Jewell Margaret Mae and Area 51.

SG NC Promisedland MG Diva has made her mark in the Nigerian Dwarf world with scores of progeny earning their Superior Genetics designation and Elite status. As a Diva granddaughter, and at the age of 7 years old, MCH/ SGCH Creeping Thyme Farm Delores LA90 won the 2021 AGS Nationals Grand Champion Senior Doe! Earning accolades for both milk production scores and exceptional conformation is about all anyone could hope to breed for and I am so thrilled to be the farm where Delores will stay for her last years. I have to thank Mike Sierra of SK Bullnettle Farm for #1 seeing Delores' potential and working so hard to earn her the recognition she deserved and #2 appreciating how much I admired Delores (and the whole Diva line) to allow me the opportunity to be her last home.

Nilam Bukit was a gorgeous doeling out of Rosasharn FS Patchouli that died at a young age at another farm. Quite honestly, it's the mammary system that I would love to have on every goat at my farm.

Ever since learning of the legendary Promisedland MG Diva and seeing how well her daughters are performing in the showring and milkstand, I've kept my eyes open for a daughter of my own. While not a daughter, this Diva granddaughter came available this year and I did not hesitate to bring her into my herd. Birdie's length of body, long level rump, and breathtaking general conformation make me excited to work with her genetics. Birdie is 22" at the withers.

Nutmeg was a gorgeous doe who earned her permanent championship status in, both, ADGA and AGS while also earning her AR for milk production. Her dam and sire were out of some of the earliest Nigerian Dwarf foundation lines such as Goodwood, Gay-Mor, Stonewall, Pine Cone Valley, and Brush Creek.
And, while she may have been born 19 1/2 years ago, this doe is proof that some of the early dairy animals could still be very successful competing with many of today's goats.

Sired by Poppy Patch JC Royal Rebel and out of Dawnland Tabby's Whirlabout. Whirligig is a stunning doe with incredible depth, width, dairy character and a beautiful first freshening udder. Everything about her mesmerizes me. Her topline, long level rump, long/ graceful neck, brisket extension, angularity and her intelligence. Her udder is well attached, has a notable MSL, and plumb teats. This girl is the whole package and I'm grateful to have her as our herd queen.

Sired by Rosasharn Tom's Water Tabby +*S and TX Twincreeks WDF Butterfly Dance- this little doe won Grand Champion/ BOB at her first show as a 4 year old third freshener in 2015- beating 26 other does! When you look at the number of permanent champions on either side, it is quite easy to see why Whirlabout is so nice. From her graceful neck to her long level rump and beautiful topline, this doe's conformation is truly a show stopper.

Royal Dutchess is a beautiful doe with a long dairy neck, length/ depth of body, and a gorgous udder. Her brisket extension is notable and her owner remarked that she produced nearly 4 quarts of milk per day in her 2nd freshening with sextuplets!

Bijou "Bea" is a full sister to two very beautiful does that are doing well in the show ring: Naissance Amelia and Naissance Bellisimo. Bea has nice brisket extension, a lovely head, and nice width/ depth. Her first freshening udder, in 2019, was shaped perfectly, attached beautifully, and the teats were perfectly placed. Her 2nd freshening udder in 2020 was close to perfection! Update: Bea's 2 daughters by Beans, both, won their dry legs this year as young juniors. In addition, Bea's udder transformed and she now has amazing giant teats. Next year, I will be bringing Bijou in the show ring!

Brixie is owned and loved by Susie Miller in Maine and has produced some gorgeous show quality does. I think she could probably do well in shows, herself!
Bijou has two full sisters that have done very well in the show ring: Naissance Amelia and Naissance Bellisamo. I was lucky enough to be able to see Amelia in person and she was just amazing! Her udder was WIDE, well attached, and milked out like a dream! This doe has one leg towards her permanent championship and I have faith that she can earn her other two!

Sired by Lost Valley Legacy *S*B and out of Dawnland's Mohawk's Angel Eyes. Jewell is a beautiful doe with a very dairy appearance and notable brisket. I love her feet- they are so tight and straight that she looks like a ballerina en pointe. The udders on both sides of this pedigree are outstanding and she is following suit. There is a clear division between halves, beautiful attachments, great capacity, and beautiful teat placement.

The consistency between dam and daughter are pretty amazing! Angel Eyes has a beautiful MSL, perfect teat placement, great attachments, and is a pleasure to milk. The picture above is of Angel's 5th freshening udder with a 12 hour fill.
One just has to look at Black Shadow's udder (not filled in the picture above) to see the capacity, amazing MSL, and plumb/ plump milkable teats. This collapsible udder is a dream to milk and one that I'd love to see in future progeny at American Jewell Farm.
Named after my grandmother from Holland, this girl caught my eye the minute she came to my farm. This doeling is out of Old Mountain Farm AnnaJay and Old Mountain Farm JustPlainEd. Her rear leg set, angularity, open escutcheon, dairy character, and beautiful head are remarkable. She was one of triplet doelings who were all so nice, I couldn't decide which one to keep. Ultimately, something about her markings and general appearance reminded me of her granddam, Old Mountain Farm Anna Jarvis, and I couldn't unsee it once I made that connection.
Anna's first freshening was of a beautiful single doeling. Her udder is socked on and her teats are perfectly placed.

The first buck I ever owned was Old Mountain Farm Bad Boy- also, an Anna Jarvis kid. So, it seemed so amazing to me to give AnnaJay a home at my farm in Missouri. AnnaJay would've been a dream for me to own back in the day and is still just that. This doe is long with a very level topline and loads of dairy character.

Casco is a gorgeous doeling out of lines that I know and love. Her grandparents include: Old Mountain Farm JustPlainJoe, SG Old Mountain Farm Katja Quinn, SG Old Mountain Farm Bold Elk +*B, and Old Mountain Farm Parti Favah!!! In her own right, she is a very dairy girl with lots of angularity, a perfect rear legset, and a nice level topline. With Casco's 2nd freshening, we saw her mature into a stunning doe with an amazing udder. She is smoothly blended, stands on correct feet/ legs, and has a presence that turns heads in the show ring. She earned her first Grand Champion leg in a group of 63 milkers and I can't thank Julie Mannix of Old School Creamery enough for allowing me to be her 2-Leg.

C Sheeda is truly "da bomb" as she was aptly named by Wyl and Cheryle. Long and dairy, this girl is really just perfect! Even more, she is incredibly sweet! Sheeda won first place in her class at the 2019 MO State Fair which seems appropriate since she is the daughter of SG Old Mountain Farm Mila Quinn *M VEEE '90. Her great granddam, Rosasharn FS Patchouli, was a doe that I owned when I lived in Maine. Sheeda holds so much potential and I'm so honored to have her in my herd.
In November 2020, Sheeda began scouring and I tried standard dewormers without success. I brought her to the vet and the fecal was negative for parasites but the vet felt that a dose of Corrid might be helpful "in case there was coccidia higher up in the GI tract not showing up on a fecal". I asked if it was safe for a pregnant doe or not and they assured me it was perfectly safe. Well, they dosed her with Corrid and LA-200 and the next morning when I went out to the barn, she had aborted a set of quads that were 3 months gestation. So many times my vets do all the right things but I'm afraid that this was not one of them. I share this info as education to other breeders but also to move Sheeda to my senior doe page. I have not, yet, had the fortune of seeing her kids or her udder potential but I thought she deserved to move off of the Junior Doe page.

Cheryle, of Old Mountain Farm, says of Mila:
“'Mila' is far from being the sweetest personality in our herd but she makes up for it in so many other ways. She is dam to the 2018 ADGA National Reserve Champion Senior Doe. Mila’s sire; Cernunnos is the littermate brother to “+*B Old Mountain Farm Keidan Quinn”. Mila has wonderful width throughout, strong straight feet and strong pasterns, nice rear leg angulation and a nice wide rump. She has exceptionally creamy skin texture; loose and pliable with large plump, plumb teats and very collapsible udder. If she were not such a nervous Nelly on the milk stand she could easily be my favorite to milk."

Nilam Bukit was only three years old when she passed but managed to produce 5 offspring. Her udder was well attached and teats were large and well placed. The photo above is of her first freshening udder! Two of her sons have produced some well known/ productive offspring: Old Mountain Farm Frankincense and Old Mountain Farm Romeo. Her son, Old Mountain Farm Gold, lived in more of a pet home for most of his life and came back to Old Mountain Farm in his last year. Sheeda was Gold's final contribution to the world.
