Sheeda is truly "da bomb" as she was aptly named by Wyl and Cheryle. Long and dairy, this girl is really just perfect! Even more, she is incredibly sweet! Sheeda won first place in her class at the 2019 MO State Fair. I have a sneaky feeling that she has a bright future!

Oonah is an Irish name that translates to "Queen of the Fairies" which is so fitting. Oonah is a gorgeous chamoisee doe with blue eyes and is a mini-me of her amazing mother Old School Creamery Carolyn. Her dam won two legs towards permanent champion status on her first freshening with an udder that is to die for. She earned her permanent chamipionship with her second freshening. We really can't wait to watch Oonah unfold into her own right.

While more of an outcross for my herd, I have seen other farms blend the Wood Bridge lines in very successfully with their New England lines. Many farms have dairy goats that I admire but the Dawnland herd had a consistency of quality that even my teenage son could appreciate when we visited in July 2019. When Laura disbursed her herd, I felt honored to take twin doelings to my farm in Missouri. They were out of quints and have the length, sharpness, and angularity that I love. I would have better pictures of them but they are so friendly that I can barely step away from them to get one of my famous pasture photos. For now, we will look at the udder of their dam, Little Bee.

Old Mountain Farm Gold Dot came to me as a 7yo pregnant first freshener and we've been fortunate enough to see her through both of her kiddings. The first year, we were blessed with her buckling Old Mountain Farm Derby Winner and, this year, we were blessed with 2D and 1B! We kept both doelings because Dottie's udder is perfection and she isn't getting younger! Area 51 is a jaw dropper. This girl has it all- and my heart.

Mercy is a great granddaughter of Old Mountain Farm Stag and is a long, dairy, and powerful looking doe with a fantastic front end on her. Her dam, Faline, lived with us for a season before returning to her breeder. Her udder was beautiful and her general appearance was really quite stunning. Cade was happy to have her back and we are grateful to have this little gem out of one of our nicest udder bucks. With the udder genetics behind her, we are really thrilled to see her mature.

Dory is a total goat splurge from a farm that I respect highly. Her dam is a finished champion and the udders up and down both sides of this pedigree are so beautiful. Dory was a spoiled housegoat bottle baby and loves everyone! More than that, she is a powerful looking doeling. She has width that not all of our goats have and an amazing escutcheon. When experienced goat breeders pay our farm a visit, they are often drawn to her. We are so excited to have her at our farm.

Sometimes, I think that Cheryle Moore-Smith is a mind reader. When she offered me the opportunity to bring MooMoo to Missouri, I was stunned that she was by one of my favorite herdsires, in my favorite goat color, and named MooMoo (perhaps the best goat name ever)!! This girl is a stunner and a 1/2 sister of my beautiful Old Mountain Farm Grey Cheek. Her sire, Old Mountain Farm Darius Quinn, is the littermate brother to Old Mountain Farm Cyrus Quinn who was the 2017 ADGA National Reserve Get Of Sire and the 2018 ADGA National Get Of Sire.

This little gal was bred by my friend, Kim Roman, and born at my farm. She was exactly what I was hoping the goat fairy would give me: a chamoisee doeling from an outstanding breeding. Katy's dam has one of the most capacious udders that has ever graced our farm but was a behavioral challenge on the milkstand. We decided to move her dam on and pray that Katy has that same beautiful udder some day.

Sired by CH Old Mountain Farm Templeton and out of of Wood Bridge Farm Serendipity, this girl has the pedigree to go far! Of course, Serendipity has produced many beautiful offspring that include CH Wood Bridge Farm 22K and CH Wood Bridge Farm Morai. This girl is growthy and well built! Here is my dream/ splurge doeling from Painted Pepper Farm. I first fell in love with Painted Pepper RJ Cakewalk with with her daughter SG Painted Pepper Lemon Meringue (residing at FeatherNScale Farm). In fact, one of my favorite does in my own herd (FeatherNScale Honey Lemon) is a Cakewalk granddaughter. I WANTED MORE CAKEWALK! LOL A big thank you to Lisa Reilich at Painted Pepper Farm for sending this beauty my way. Combining the genetics of two of my favorite herds in Maine (Painted Pepper and Old Mountain Farm), Opal has a pedigree filled with Superior Genetics milkers and stunning show animals. Her sire's dam is a doe that I really fell in love when visiting Old Mountain Farm. Old Mountain Farm Armaghan's udder is pictured above (photo courtesy of Cheryle Moore-Smith, Old Mountain Farm). "Freebie" was a reserved doeling that was the tiniest of triplets and headed out to California after weaning. Despite supplementing her with a bottle, she just wasn't thriving. I canceled the sale and began more intensive interventions. Finally, by 12 weeks of age, she turned the corner and I saw an energy level that I hadn't seen since she was first born. I continued bottle feeding her long after her siblings left for their homes and whenever I'd go out to the pasture and ask, "Where's my baby?", she would pop out from her hiding place and run right up to me. Needless to say, we've bonded. Freebie is the little goat that could. Her dam's udder is everything that I hoped it would be for being a daughter of an Elite doe and a Diva granddaughter. Like her dam, she has a beautiful topline with a long level rump.

Biscuit's entry into this world was highly anticipated but arduous. She presented with her head and only one front leg. Despite my attempt to push her head back in and find the other front leg, nothing was budging and she began to display agonal breathing. In a desperate attempt to get her delivered, I took her head and one leg and pulled as hard as I could. She delivered but her other leg was fractured high up during the process. Despite casting by our veterinarian, 4 weeks later it was determined that her front leg could not be saved and required amputation to save her life. Biscuit lived in our home for several weeks until we were sure she could get along on three legs. She is a LOVE bug and really doesn't realize that she is a goat. Her breeding is fantastic and represents a line breeding on Tiny Angels Moon Shadow. I don't know what the future holds for Biscuit but we felt that she deserved the best chance possible for a happy life.

When this girl's dam came bred from Old Mountain Farm and I learned that she was exposed to Rosasharn Moscow Mule, I said a prayer for a white/cream doeling to name WhiteRussian. Not only did I get my wish, but I got a keeper buckling to boot! Her dam's udder has amazing capacity and snug attachments. I really love the long dairy body on her dam and feel that she has true potential in a show ring.
